Zarin: So I am back with the FINAL FINAL draft of the Authors' Note. Again thankyou for the suggestions, I apologize for the mistakes I did on my draft. I really appreciate the help and comments : )
So this is it, I will put this up as the final version, if you still want to add other things to it, I will wait until Sunday, Monday to the latest! So I can finaliza this soon!
@Lisa: I really liked the example of the math teacher, I just thought maybe we should be just focus on programming and make staight forward! But if you want to add that it, you are more than welcome, just add it in. Just a suggestion :)
This manual aims to teach students the programming concept of Selection in Turing. Our goal is for the students to learn new concepts as well as sharpen and improve their skills in an interactive, understandable way. In brief terms, it is a simple book that is designed to provide students with a clear understanding about this area of programming. Towards the completion of the manual, students will be able to approach selection with more confident and apply this knowledge to other programming concepts. We follow one simple philosophy: “One must be able to walk before he or she can run.” In the series, Tutoring Turing, we ensure that a solid foundation of the previous concept is built before continuing to the next. From the bottom of our hearts, we send out our sincere thanks for choosing this series. We hope to be one of your grand stepping stones to success in programming. After all, learning has no end.

Thank you for your hard work, Zarin! I have a few edits to make, though. First of all, in the line "We follow one simple philosphy, 'One must be able to walk before he/she can run'", I'm pretty sure that the comma should be replaced by a colon. Moreover, it's better not to have slashes, so simply write "he or she". So: We follow one simple philosophy: "One must be able to walk before he or she can run".
Another thing I realized is that you put Tutoring Turing in quotation marks. A title of a book (or series, in this case) should either be italicized or underlined.

Zarin: Ok so this is the page where I will post the draft for the authors' message, it comes right after the publishing detail in the manual. This is just a note for the authors regarding about the manual and what you will learn after completing the manual. So I hope this works, if you think this is too much like the teaser let me know (send me a message or call me)!
PS: If you want to add anything, you are more that welcome! The deadline, I guess should be tonight and tomorrow morning the latest!
Here is the first draft of the Authors' note:
This manual aims on students who want to learn about Selection in Turing or even those who want improvement. It is a simple book that is designed to provide students with a clear understanding about this area of programming. Towards the completion of the manual, students will be able to approach selection with more ease and apply this knowledge to other programming concepts. We hope that this book will present students with a better understand of this programming concept and inspire them to learn even more in the future. After all, learning has no end.
Zarin, Lisa, Tasfia and Pearl There you have it, if this is really bad, please let me know.
Perhaps you could add the fact that we were once Turing students ourselves? There are a few wonky sentences, but the main idea is good. Another thing you could alter is the names. An idea is having each of our names and signatures, so it looks like this:
[Signature goes here] Zarin Tasnim
[Signature goes here] Lisa Xiao
[Signature goes here] Tasfia Tasneem
[Signature goes here] Pearl Leung
Then again, this is simply a suggestion. - Pearl
Hey, it is I, Lisa!
I finally had the time from the few busy days to really focus on the ICS culminating. I updated and added a bunch of other pages, so please have a look. Do it for the sake of my hardwork and time put into editing them. haha
I also had a chance to edit the Author's note. It's really good, Zarin. I am not sure if Pearl contributed to it too, but great job.
This my "final" draft version of it. You don't have to use it. Afterall, you took ownership of this task. You can also rip some parts off. No, it is not plagurising if I am the author of the book as well. ;)

We want to help our readers learn about new concepts and even sharpen and improve their skills in an interactive, understandable way. Towards the completion of the manual, students will be able to approach selection with more confident and apply this knowledge to other programming concepts. We follow one simple philosophy, “One must be able to walk before he/she can run.” A math teacher will teach his/her students simply algebraic expressions before the students will learn about simultaneous linear equations. The same aspect of learning applies to programming. In the series, “Tutoring Turing”, we ensure that a solid foundation of the previous concept is built before continuing to the next. From the bottom of our hearts, we send out our sincere thanks for choosing this series. We hope that this book will present you with a better understand of programming concepts and an inspiration to further your learning in the future. After all, learning has no end.
I like it Lisa! By the way, this is Tasfia. I made some corrections. It is still open for Zarin to change.
